If you are using contact lenses for the first time, gradually increase the wearing time. Do not wear the lenses for more than 4 hours on the first day, on each subsequent day, you can extend the wearing time by 2 hours. Do not wear lenses for more than 10 hours a day.
Handle the lenses only with clean, dry hands. When opening the packaging for the first time, always make sure that the lenses are undamaged and completely immersed in solution. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or the lenses are dried out.
It is essential to soak the contact lenses for at least 4 hours in fresh contact lens solution before first use. Only then can you use the lenses according to the following instructions. Follow the instructions precisely.
Insertion:
- Remove one lens from the package.
- Place the lens on the tip of your right index finger and make sure it is turned the right way out.
- Lift the upper eyelid with your left index finger and simultaneously pull down the lower eyelid with the middle finger of your right hand.
- Now you can insert the lens into your eye.
- Repeat the above steps (points 1 to 4) to insert the lens into the other eye.
Removal:
Look up and simultaneously pull down the lower eyelid. Gently pinch the lower edge of the lens together with your thumb and index finger and remove the lens from the eye.
Cleaning and disinfection:
Always follow the instructions on the contact lens solution bottle. If the lenses dry out, they are very fragile and must be handled very carefully. In such a case, place the lenses in fresh solution for at least 4 hours. Then clean and disinfect them again and check for any damage. If you are unsure whether the lenses are damaged, consult your eye doctor before inserting them.
