Balloon inflation and professional helium bottle rental

It is hard to imagine a social event without balloons these days. Although it might seem like this trend is fading, the opposite is true. There is a great deal of interest in giant foil balloons, but classic latex balloons, whether inflated with air or helium, are still popular.

We inflate balloons directly on our stores in Prague. We are also able to provide balloon printing for commercial purposes and import of inflated balloons and decorations thanks to our Balloon courier. For customers who want to inflate their balloons themselves, we also provide rental of helium bottles, professional compressors, and sizers.

Inflating balloons with air

Balloons, which are inflated classically with air, with a special balloon compressor, are attached to a stick. These balloons do not fly. Their durability is several days, it is important to tie the balloons correctly.

Inflating balloons with helium

These balloons, on the other hand, fly thanks to the balloon gas, the so-called helium. The lifespan of latex balloons is approximately 12-14 hours, of course it depends on the quality of the balloon, their size, but also, for example, the environment the balloons are placed in. In a cold environment, their lifespan is extended by up to 100%, while in a warm environment it is reduced.

Helium endurance:

• For latex balloons it is approximately 12-24 hours with special gel it can be up to 36 hours*
• For foil balloons it is at least a week

 *Only suitable for latex balloons 30 cm and larger, if the balloons are filled with confetti, we are not responsible for the extension of the flight.

The exact prices for inflating balloons when ordering online can be found directly under the products in the e-shop. The e-shop price includes approximately 5% discount compared to prices in stores or custom blowing through customer service.

If you want to inflate balloons yourself and only need a small number, you can purchase a disposable one from our e-shop and store helium set with capacity for twelve to fifty balloons.

Balloon inflation at the Prague store on Palmovka or Dejvická

In our shop you can buy various types of balloons and at the same time you can have them inflated by us. We then pack the balloons into transport bags, about forty pieces at a time. They can therefore be easily transported by car or public transport. If you do not have the possibility of your own transport, you can use our service Balloon courier.

If you require more than ten balloons to be inflated, we recommend that you place an order and pay in advance. Your order will then be ready at a certain hour.

We will be happy to inflate a smaller number of balloons (up to fifty pieces) for you in the store. On the other hand, we inflate a larger number of balloons directly at the location. Our balloon decorators in Prague and the surrounding area will then help you with the implementation.

Helium for inhalation:

We kindly warn that the helium we sell and inflate in our store is not intended for inhalation but for inflating balloons. Please do not inhale it in large quantities. Learn more under the link.

Helium price list for renting a professional cylinder - payment only for the helium consumed

6,000 CZK per piece (this deposit will be deducted from the price of the helium consumed).

When renting a helium cylinder, every 10 liters of helium is counted for one balloon.

The minimum possible purchase is 1,000 liters, i.e. approximately 100 balloons, if you use a smaller amount, the amount of 2,000 CZK will always be deducted from your deposit.

We rent cylinders with a capacity of 8, 20 and 50 liters.

We rent professional cylinders during operating hours MON - FRI 9:00 - 16:00 at the BalonkyPraha.cz headquarters in Palmovka.
