Manufacturer's Application Instructions
If you are using contact lenses for the first time, gradually increase the wearing time. On the first day, do not wear the lenses for more than 4 hours, each following day you can extend the wearing time by 2 hours. Do not wear the lenses for more than 10 hours a day.
Handle the lenses only with clean, dry hands. When opening the packaging for the first time, always make sure that the lenses are undamaged and completely immersed in solution. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or the lenses have dried out.
It is essential to immerse the contact lenses in fresh contact lens solution for at least 4 hours before first use. Only then can you use the lenses according to the following instructions. Strictly follow the instructions below.
Application
- Remove one lens from the packaging.
- Place the lens on the tip of your right index finger and make sure it is turned to the correct side.
- Raise your left index finger to lift the upper lid and at the same time pull down the lower eyelid with the middle finger of your right hand.
- You can now insert the lens into the eye.
- Repeat the above procedure (steps 1 to 4) for inserting the lens into the other eye.
Removal
Look up and at the same time pull down the lower lid. Gently pinch the lower edge of the lens together with your thumb and index finger and remove the lens from the eye.
Cleaning and Disinfection
Always follow the instructions on the contact lens solution bottle. If the lenses dry out, they become very fragile and you must handle them very carefully. In such a case, immerse the lenses in fresh solution for at least 4 hours. Then clean and disinfect them again and check for any damage. If you are unsure whether the lenses are damaged, consult your eye doctor before inserting them.
Please be aware that eye health is crucial for your vision and do not risk eye damage due to negligence or improper lens use. Therefore, respect the following instructions.
- If you have any doubts about the correct handling and use of contact lenses, we recommend visiting your eye doctor.
- Never reuse already used lens solution.
- Always monitor and follow the instructions on the lens solution container regarding usage and storage time.
- Should you experience irritation, redness, burning, or eye pain, or if your vision is disturbed by light reflections or colored patterns, remove the lenses and consult an eye doctor.
- Remove your lenses before going to sleep or lying down for an extended period.
- Keep short nails on your fingers, as long nails can cause lens damage.
- Do not wear lenses for an eye examination by an eye doctor or inform the doctor beforehand if you have lenses in place.
- Do not use saliva to moisten or clean the lenses.
- Do not wear contact lenses if you are using eye medication or eye drops.
- Do not wear lenses if they are damaged, scratched, or have unremovable dirt on them.
- Apply makeup to your eyes only after inserting the lenses and remove it only after removing the lenses from your eyes. Whenever possible, use water-soluble eye preparations and cosmetics, free of fibers and oils.
- Do not use strong household cleaning agents while wearing contact lenses.
- Never use water, regular cleaning, or disinfecting agents to clean contact lenses and lens storage containers. Serious eye damage could occur.
- Do not wear lenses in a smoky or humid environment.
- Keep lens storage containers in constant cleanliness.
- Do not let hair sprays and other cosmetic sprays come into contact with the lenses.
- Do not wear lenses in environments with harmful, irritating, or toxic vapors.
- Do not share lenses with anyone.
Wearing lenses with effects is prohibited while driving vehicles.
