The balloon can be inflated with air (straw not included in the package) or with helium through a special self-sealing valve to prevent air from leaking out. When inflated with helium, the balloon will stay fully inflated for approximately 5 to 8 days, then it will slowly deflate.

The balloon is made from recyclable materials and is 100% recyclable.
