| Legal information and warnings | Party helium - Warning: Filled canister. Do not fill the canister with any other material. Otherwise, an explosion may occur resulting in serious injury or death. Keep the canister out of reach of children. Do not inhale helium, it can cause serious injury or death. Do not insert the canister injector (valve) into the mouth, nose or other body openings. Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Do not use in small spaces. Helium can displace oxygen needed for breathing from small spaces. Do not expose the canister to fire or other heat sources, it contains compressed helium under pressure (UN 1046, CAS#7440-59-7) and could damage the pressure valve and cause the canister to suddenly discharge. This can cause serious injury or death. Do not store in damp areas, as oxidation can cause an explosion and serious injury or death. Handle the canister with care. If dropped or struck by sharp objects, it may explode and cause a sudden discharge, injury or death. INSTRUCTIONS FOR RECYCLING OR DISPOSAL OF THE CANISTER (bottle): If you are outdoors, make sure that you have used up all the helium. Close the main valve on the top of the bottle, unscrew the safety valve (the valve with the rubber band), open the main valve to release the remaining pressure. After this operation, you can take the bottle to a recycling center or to sorted metal waste. To assure the surrounding area of the safety of the empty pressure vessel, we recommend carefully piercing the bottle with a screwdriver in a raised place. Such a bottle is no longer pressurized and nothing prevents its recycling. |
